A more refined look for LK Bennett a large fashion brand based in the UK, founded by Linda Bennett in London in 1990 with the vision of bringing “a bit of Bond Street luxury to the High Street”.

Brief
While working with Mace & Menter I was asked to design the product description page, the product listing page, the mission product listing page, and a new more flexible editorial page allowing users to feel closer to the LKB brand.
Aims
Design an easy-to-navigate, refined solution that gives users the information they need to make easier buying decisions. Create a more seamless experience between the listing and product description pages.

Zoom
Moving users to a full-screen view gives them a focused look at the product allowing them to get close to the fabric and details.

Filters
Creating a place for filters gives users a focused task to complete and keeps the main pages feeling clean. It allows the images of the products to be front and center at all other stages in the shopping experience.

Mission page
The mission listing page allows a mixture of dynamic images giving an editorial feel as well as listing out the products in the category. Users can flick through images on each product card, choose sizes, colours and add to their basket all without leaving the page. Introducing accessories and lifestyle shots make the shopping experience feel more tailored.

Fully responsive
Each template was designed in desktop, tablet, and mobile sizes. Each screen size was also tested with users and refinements were made based on feedback.

Navigation
The navigation changes on scroll giving users what they need at the right time. As the user scrolls down we highlight the main navigation allowing them to quickly move between categories. As they scroll up they are indicating they want to change something so we show them the filters bar with the active filters selected.

Editorial page
An experiential page that allows the brand to showcase upcoming looks and styles as well as highlight important events from the calendar. This is where users feel the LK Bennett brand. Each image is clickable allowing users to shop the look from the image without disrupting the flow of the page.

Design system
A comprehensive style guide was created to make it easier for the developers. This also became a basis for the design system used in designing other pages on the site.
