While contracting for Fffunction I collaborated with The Wave to strengthen the brand's digital presence. I was tasked with developing concepts to translate surfing culture into the digital realm, including website conceptualizations. Wave subsequently reached out requesting assistance with their retail packaging design.

Brief
Develop conceptual user interface designs considering how visitors will engage with the platform. Make it thrilling and incorporate the authentic surfing culture aesthetic throughout.
Aims
Develop modular components that can be utilized by Fffunction to construct the remaining website sections. Establish design styles that translate effectively to offline applications.

Concepts
Incorporating The Wave's brushstroke components, implementing a fresh typeface that harmonizes with the logo and employing a striking layout creates a distinctive, contemporary and easily digestible aesthetic.

Retail designs
The Wave contacted me to assist with designing their retail merchandise, including towels, t-shirts, water bottles, sunscreen and additional apparel items.

Style
Translating the digital aesthetics to retail packaging enhances brand consistency. Playful, accessible with subtle surf culture influences throughout.


Responsive
Every concept was crafted across multiple screen dimensions, with the site subsequently developed fully responsive to ensure optimal functionality and appearance on all devices.
